I have been a proud Lake in the Hills resident since 1999. I raised my two adult children here, and I am grateful they had the opportunity to grow up in this great community and benefit from everything McHenry County has to offer.
I worked as a Master ASE Certified automotive mechanic for more than 20 years and continue to work in the skilled trades. I understand the value of hard work, personal responsibility, and earning what you have. I am also a proud member of the Teamsters.
My roots are here, and I am committed to protecting the communities and families that make McHenry County such a great place to live.
Serving the Community
On January 16, 2024, I was appointed to the McHenry County Community Development and Housing Grant Commission. As a member, I have had the privilege of helping ensure grant funding is spent wisely and benefits the residents of McHenry County.
Over the years, the commission has helped communities throughout the county improve roads, parks, and other important infrastructure projects. We have also helped residents achieve the dream of homeownership through outstanding nonprofit organizations, while supporting nonprofits that provide safe and secure housing for battered women, veterans, and others in need.
Serving on this commission has given me firsthand experience in making responsible decisions with public funds and ensuring that county resources are put to work where they can make the greatest difference.

I am a proven steward of taxpayer funds who makes tough financial decisions while listening to residents to ensure our essential services stay efficient and accountable.
I have served as a board member of our 144-unit homeowners association for the past three years. During that time, I have worked with fellow board members to maintain a balanced budget while responsibly managing our community’s finances and completing several significant projects. We have been able to accomplish these improvements without increasing assessments or imposing special assessments on our residents. This experience has strengthened my understanding of budgeting, long-term financial planning, infrastructure maintenance, and responsible stewardship of residents’ money.
